Today’s reminder in the form of a quick spread ♥️

I haven’t sat down to journal and film in the longest time. Randomly found myself unoccupied one Saturday afternoon and pulled out all my stamps and stickers and created this spread. And while putting this reel together it made me miss the times when I was consistent with this hobby. Starting off with a blank page and a boxful of supplies, never knowing where things will end up (kind of a metaphor for life too).

It’s been a long time since I sat down and journaled in my TN. I flipped through my TN the other day and it was page after page of empty spreads. I can blame it on life being busy and not having “enough time” but the truth is I started to lose the joy in it, especially with social media. That feeling of always having to stay ahead of the game or always feeling like I’m lagging behind or that everyone else is doing “better” creating more than I was. But somehow last weekend, I took some time off from my usual activities and found myself pulling out my TN and supplies and just started journaling. I guess what I’m trying to say is to remember to give yourself grace and that sometimes it’s okay to take a step back from things or to take a break to rest :)

A little morning venture into the rainforest 🌳

It’s been to hard to find sunlight in this “new” room (it’s coming on nine months now). But I’ve been enjoying being greeted by the sun each morning, and bidding it goodbye each evening.

Fear has taught you a lot of things, but what if courage teaches you more?
